The Danish Bitcoin Policy Institute (DBPI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank dedicated to strengthening Denmark’s understanding and development of Bitcoin policies. We foster informed dialogue, conduct research, promote responsible regulations, and advocate for innovative policies that embrace bitcoin adoption and its transformative potential.

Our Current Focus

In this early stage, we are prioritizing the following focus areas to build a strong foundation.

Public Speaking

We engage directly in the public conversation on Bitcoin and policy. In September, DBPI will be present at events in both the Danish Parliament and the Swedish Parliament, contributing to discussions on the future of digital money.

Research and Partnerships

We are building a foundation of independent research to guide policymakers and the public. This includes forming partnerships with associations, institutions, and leading individuals to ensure our work reflects a broad and informed perspective.

As an early-stage institute, we are focused on securing sustainable funding to expand our activities. Support from both private and public partners will enable us to grow our research capacity, strengthen our presence, and drive meaningful impact.
